Avrion Therapeutics develops precision gene therapies for neurological disorders. Building on more than 10 years of research at the Brain Mind Institute, they design cell type-specific gene therapy vectors and identify new targets using a proprietary discovery engine.
I was entrusted with a truly exciting project: creating diagrams to explain their first product, AVR-001 — a single injection into the central nervous system using a gene therapy vector. This injection aims to cure amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as Charcot’s disease).
The second diagram illustrates the development plan of this product. It shows the required funding and timelines. These two visuals were created to attract investors. They also highlight other targets Avrion Therapeutics hopes to treat in the future, such as Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s.
